We may collect information you gave us when you use our platform, by filling in forms or we can collect information automatically if you sign up via social authentification methods (Facebook or Google).

  • mandatory information when you use Carpul sign up: your name or nickname, e-mail adress, date of birth, gender and hashed password

  • details about smoking and pets in your car during transport

2. Data retention

Your data are stored as below:

  • 10 years after your last visit of our Platform or you were blocked
  • 2 years after you closed your account

After mentioned periods data are completely deleted from database server and ratings from related person are anonymized.

  • to send you service-related information by email and/or text message and/or any other communication means (e.g. your booking confirmation)
  • to enable you to personnalise your user profile on our Platform
  • to ensure compliance with applicable laws, our Terms of use, and our Privacy Notice. Certain breaches that we regard as inappropriate may lead to the suspension of your account
  • to sent you marketing materials
  • to notify you about any changes on our Platform
  • to administer our Platform and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, analytic and survey purposes
  • as part of our efforts to keep our Platform safe and secure

4. Who are the recipients of the Information we collect from you and for which purposes?

When you use our services, some information about you is shared with the members of our communities, either on your public profile or during the booking process (e.g. we give your phone number or e-mail or social netork profile link to the member with whom you will share a ride).

We never share any personal data to the third parties.

5. What are your rights in respect of your personal data?

Where permitted by law, you may have the right to obtain a copy of Personal Data that we hold about you. Before responding to your request, we may ask you to verify your identity and provide further details so we can better respond to your request. We will endeavour to respond within an appropriate timeframe and, in any event, within any timeframe required by law. As a member of our Platform, you can access the Personal Data we hold about you via your account to correct, amend, or delete information that is inaccurate.
